Junk Journal

When Smash books first came out a couple of years ago I made journals then on a weekend with friends. We used up lots of pieces of scrapbook paper (excellent!) and I can remember using graph paper, pink lined paper, tags, pockets and journaling cards.

Recently a friend, Christine, showed me her junk journal. She had used lots of gelli plate sheets, and had also worked out a new way of binding the journal.

So here's a few pictures of my journal.
The cover is a gelli print and then one of the Julie Nutting doll stamps. The binding is painted self-adhesive canvas and then I've used the bind-it-all. Then I've used more gelli print pages, scrapbook pages, old diary pages, a book cover and pages, tags, a cut up Graze box, envelopes, acetate.

I got my sewing machine out and stitched pockets and on pages before I bound the journal.
