Bejewelled

The theme for this month's fabric circle journal was bejewelled. Thinking what to do was a challenge especially as I collected it from the sorting office on my way on holiday and wanted to make a start while I was away so materials were limited. The first picture is truer re colours but the 2nd one shows the richness of the beads and materials better

More drawing

Painting, drawing and doodling in my journal continue - recently I've been continuing to make use of odd moments and trips away to do more journaling. Packing the materials I want/need whilst away is the biggest challenge so it was good to go away on Sunday with a small overnight bag that included my journal, paints and pencil case (and yes I still had a change of clothes, toiletries etc as well as my kindle)

Circle journal

This month the theme of the circle journal was "A letter to my childhood self". I started with a simple background, painted the girl and then just started to paint and doodle. Thinking what to write was probably the hardest part

Junque Journal

The post yesterday brought this fabulous junque journal. It came from a swap hosted via UK scrappers. Everyone taking part had to make their journal covers together with 20 pages which were distributed between the participants.
The resulting journal is amazing. Thank you to Rebecca who hosted the swap and all the ladies who took part.
