LaFioReVida

I found a free art journaling course on La FioReVida. The image of the girl was printed in black and white and I've painted her. The background is collaged and painted including the 7Gypsies tissue paper. This is lovely to use for backgrounds.

Sunday Art Journaling at Art from the Heart

Here's what I did at Art From the Heart on Sunday. The rumour that we just gossip isn't true! We used the Dylusions spray inks and a ghosting technique followeed by some doodling

Another She Art 2 page

I'm just loving this course. It's a chance to play, to try using some different techniques and materials and perhaps to decide what's really me rather than just copying others

She Art 2 finished journal page

I finished the page with a Richard Bach quote that really resonated with me

Gluebooks

There's a discussion on UK Scrappers about gluebooks, using pages made from decoupaged images. I realise that already havce a couple of art journal pages like this. The top image is decoupaged with some glitter and a small piece of fabric. The double LO is again decoupaged but the images have then been painted over. I did these pages at an art journaling weekend with Anneliese Bates. Whoops, sorry about the wonky scan.

A new page ready for journaling

I'm doing Christie Tomlinson's on-line worskop She Art 2. Here's my girl from the first week. I wanted to do a page in my journal rather than a canvas so I've lkeft space for the journaling which I'll add later. I'm enjoying the workshop, although the number of different videos to watch is a bit overwhelming.

This is what I've been doing this evening

I've been doing an on-line course learning to design mandalas. The course has just finished and here is my latest creation. Thanks Guadalupe
Well I finally gave in and set up a blog. I had some many excuses - I don't have time, what would I write?, why would anyone want to read it?
Well, we'll see.
